GSHBA Parade of Homes 2008
Welcome to Jon Marty’s Custom Carpentry’s 2008 Parade Home. This certified Energy Star Home was built utilizing site positioning to achieve maximum exposure to the earth’s solar benefits. This, along with an extensive closed loop geothermal heating system and advanced, yet cost-effective whole house insulation system, provide virtually free heating for the home.
Outside you’ll see a completely maintenance free exterior accented with unique real stone and arched garage door trim. Inside is an open concept design with many amenities: 11 foot ceilings, a one-of-a-kind octagonal cross barrel vault ceiling, unique uses of flooring, arch accents, a very comfortable master suite, and much more.
Though the lookout basement is unfinished, we prepped it with 9′ ceilings, in-floor heating, and plenty of windows. We worked closely with the homeowners to achieve their ideal in this 1969 square foot ranch home and thank them for allowing us to build their “green” home.
