Stevens Point / GSHBA Parade of Homes 2014
Welcome to our Rustic, Yet Modern, 2014 Parade Home
When you first drive through the wooded driveway, you will be welcomed by the warm, rustic feel of our 2014 parade home. Featured are the custom made cedar truss accents used in the front design. Other unique materials were used in construction, such as wood post beams, veneer stone, and stucco finish.
Before entering the house, you may want to pause for a minute and allow yourself to be riveted by the view. If the perfect sunset were to be captured in painting, it could be done in this setting. The rays of the setting sun traverse through the tree branches and reach all the way down to the ground- visible to those sitting on the front porch. Beyond the boundaries of the four acre lot, the woods continue into a nature preserve. Although one might feel embedded in the woods, our home is right outside of town- Sentry Insurance is only five minutes to the South.
Once inside, you won’t believe that the oak plank flooring is not actual hardwood- it is the newest trend in alternative flooring. The interior exudes warmth with its hickory cabinets complementing the cozy stone fireplace within an open concept setting. The ten foot raised ceiling in the great room foyer displays modern flair. On the lower level, the lookout basement allows plenty of sunlight and a view of the surrounding woods. This home showcases the superior craftsmanship and unique designs of our talented employees and subcontractors.
Thanks for visiting!
